Privacy

A clear explanation of how the site works.

This policy describes the data practices of the Nivoro Study Lab website as provided in this release. It explains what the browser-based tools do and what may be handled by the website host or any third-party services enabled by the publisher.

Last reviewed: October 23, 2026.

Information entered into tools

The study tools use client-side JavaScript and are designed to process values in your browser. The Study Planner, grade calculators, reading estimator, task prioritizer, and citation helper do not send those inputs to a Nivoro application server. The flashcard tool stores its deck in browser local storage so it can remain available in the same browser profile.

Local storage is not an encrypted cloud backup. Other people with access to your browser profile or device may be able to access saved cards. Clearing site data can remove them, and they do not automatically sync across devices.

Hosting logs and technical data

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the server, such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps, and error logs. Precise collection and retention depend on the hosting configuration and provider policy. The site owner should review the host’s current privacy terms.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This project does not include an analytics script or advertising code by default. If advertising, analytics, affiliate widgets, embedded media, or other third-party services are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process information under their own terms. The site owner must update this policy to match the services actually enabled and configure any consent mechanism required by Google or applicable privacy rules before those services are used.

External links

Nivoro links to third-party educational and reference resources. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.

Children and sensitive information

Do not enter passwords, identity numbers, health details, or other sensitive information into study tools. The site is a general educational resource, not a service for collecting sensitive information.

Your choices

You can avoid using browser storage, delete stored cards through the tool, or clear site data in browser settings. If you contact the publisher, information you choose to include may be processed to reply.

Contact and updates

For a privacy question, use the Contact page. The details handled by the hosting provider depend on the hosting configuration and should be checked against that provider’s current privacy documentation.
