How to use this tool

  3. Check that the weights add to 100% for a complete final-grade calculation.
  4. Compare with your official gradebook, which may use rounding or rules this tool does not model.

What the result means

The calculator multiplies each category score by its weight, then adds the weighted values. For example, 80% in a category worth 25% contributes 20 percentage points to the course result.

It does not account for curves, dropped scores, extra credit, or special rounding rules unless those are reflected in the inputs.
